What are my Remote Training Options with Driveline as a Two-Way Player?
Training both as a pitcher and hitter simultaneously, while certainly possible, requires much more hands-on attention by both the coach and athlete to assure workload and fatigue are being managed properly and effectively. Far too often, we see many athletes going through a baseline pitching and throwing program that does not make the necessary concessions to incorporate high-intensity throwing alongside lifting and hitting. As a result, both performance outcomes and health may ultimately suffer unless proper communication and accommodations are made to incorporate both facets of training.
For youth athletes (ages 8-14), we came out with our Youth Online Baseball Development Program to allow for athletes to work on pitching, hitting, and strength development. For athletes ages 14+, we have athletes choose either Online Hitting or Online Pitching. This is so our remote athletes can maximize their work with us and get the most out of their limited training economy. If you have any additional questions on how this works, or what option may be best for your situation, don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 425-523-4030.
