What are my Remote Training Options with Driveline as a Two-Way Player?

Training both as a pitcher and hitter simultaneously, while certainly possible, requires much more hands-on attention by both the coach and athlete to assure workload and fatigue are being managed properly and effectively. Far too often, we see many athletes going through a baseline pitching and throwing program that does not make the necessary concessions to incorporate high-intensity throwing alongside lifting and hitting. As a result, both performance outcomes and health may ultimately suffer unless proper communication and accommodations are made to incorporate both facets of training.

In an effort to maintain hands-on communication with remote two-way athletes and provide integrated hitting, pitching, and lifting programming, we recently created Online Baseball Development. OBD incorporates both our hitting and throwing floor staff to collaborate on a custom-tailored program that is designed to provide and monitor hitting, pitching, and strength programming all within an athlete’s training economy. This program will be based on the athlete’s specific needs and training goals.

Generated in his/her software profile in the same way that Online Hitting/Pitching would, athletes on software would be able to communicate with both of our training floor staffs to develop and provide the necessary feedback on their programming, drills, and workload constraints. Online Baseball Development is the same price as Online Pitching and Online Hitting and will also give you access to discounted prices to all of our recommended throwing and hitting materials.
