What is Blast?

Blast Motion sensor is a motion capture device that measures an athlete's relevant swing metrics and characteristics. Some of the most prudent metrics include bat speed, peak hand speed, attack angle, time to contact, body rotation, on plane %, etc.

How Do We Use Blast?

We use this device in our gym to track all of these swing metrics for each of our hitting trainees during their live/machine rounds. This gives our hitting trainers good baseline numbers and allows them to track progress/regression via our assess, test, retest model.
