Viewing Data (Advanced)

Why is this useful?

  • Whether it is tech platform data or manually inputted data, being able to view all of an athlete's data in one profile is the core of TRAQ.
  • In the vast majority of situations, athletes do not have access to their own data because the trainer does not share the google sheet or cloud login info with the athlete. This allows the data to always be at the athlete's fingertips.

Tracking Sheets

Tracking Sheets are where you can find any information that was entered into a Data Input.

Click on the Tracking Sheets tab on the athlete profile.

In the Tracking Sheets tab, click on the tab that corresponds to the type of workout the athlete was assigned that had this input, Pitching, Hitting, Strength, or MedBall.

A full record of every time each athlete filled out a data input is available in Tracking Sheets. You can click on any individual row to view the original input the athlete filled out.

You can also add calculations to the Tracking Sheets to transform the raw data into usable metrics automatically. For example, this is the original input the athlete filled out:

And this is the Tracking Sheet for that input:

Trainers don't have to calculate any of these metrics on their own. All of the data stored in Tracking Sheets can be used in TRAQ's reporting functions.

Platform Data

Once an athlete has technology linked to their profile, all of that data will be accessible to both athletes and trainers from the Platforms tab.

Each of the types of technology that the athlete has stored in TRAQ will appear. Click on the name of the technology to view the data.

Blast

Once Blast data has been uploaded to an athlete's profile, just select the date range to view each session and the averages.

Diamond Kinetics

Once the athlete's profile has been synced with Diamond Kinetics, click on the Pitching or Hitting tabs to view the data.

HitTrax

Once the athlete's profile has been linked to their HitTrax Game Center account, click on the Daily KPIs tab and select the date range to see each session and their averages within that range.

Click on the 1/7/14/30/60/all tab to see and compare averages across those time periods.

Rapsodo

Once the athlete's TRAQ profile is associated with their Rapsodo cloud account, the data will be stored in Platforms. Depending on the type of Rapsodo cloud account (Pitcher, Hitter, Both) the appropriate data will populate.

Pitcher: Click KPI tab to view all pitches from the most recent session. Click Strike tab to view a Strike Zone Plot and a Horizontal and Vertical Break Chart from the most recent session. Click on 30/60/90/all to view specific pitch data from each time period.

The data updates automatically overnight, but trainers can manually update it earlier by clicking the green Get New Data button.

Hitter: Click Daily Reports to get a swing by swing summary of the most recent session. Click Summary Reports to get a breakdown of Exit Velocity by Launch Angle over different time periods. Click Last Session to view the average metrics from the most recent session. Click Last Session vs. Summary to view the average metrics from the most recent session compared to the average metrics from different time ranges.

The data updates automatically overnight, but trainers can manually update it earlier by clicking the green Get New Data button.

Pocket Radar

Once an athlete is linked up to Pocket Radar, click on the PocketRadar tab. The Last Session tab shows each pitch thrown and the velocity and corresponding tabs from the most recent session.

Summary allows you to select date ranges and filters and view average velocities.

K-Vest

Once K-Vest data has been uploaded for the athlete, click on the K-Vest tab. The Last Session tab shows the metrics from the most recent session.

The Summary tab shows averages within the selected time range.

Motus

Once an athlete has their TRAQ account linked to Motus, click on the Motus tab. Set the date range and select any filters to view the Total Throw Count, Number of Days with Throws, and Averages Throws per day as well as High Effort Throw % and AC Ratio Between 0.7-1.3 %. Below that there is a list of the most recent sessions as well as the averages from those sessions.
