Syncing data from multiple PULSE Sensors

Syncing data from multiple PULSE sensors

PULSE data can be synced from multiple sensors at once from a coach account if sensors are saved to each athlete profile on the roster:
  1. Open the PULSE coach account
  2. Plug in all sensors that have data within-range of your mobile device
  3. Select a subteam roster if applicable (syncing from subteam rosters oftentimes helps syncing operate smoothly because it has to search through less athlete profiles)
  4. Click "Team Data Sync" at the bottom of the screen
  5. Select the check mark when asked, "Would you like to continue?"
  6. The PULSE app will search through the current roster for sensors who are saved to an athlete profile and are within range
  7. You will have the option to cancel if you need to cancel for any reason, refresh the search if it didn't detect the sensors by you, or go ahead and sync
  8. Select "Sync"
The PULSE app will rotate through all of the sensors that are within range, on the charger, and that have data, and will display the results of the Team Data sync at the end. You will have the best results using Team Data Sync when you follow best practices that are listed below.

This video takes you through the process of using Team Data Sync:

PULSE Throw Team Data Sync Best Practices:
  1. Only have the sensors that you want to sync close to the device, make sure sensors with no data and/or data that you don't want to sync are out-of-range of the mobile device
  2. Make sure all sensors that you want to sync are on the charger with more than 25% of charge (see battery life by connecting it in the app)
  3. Execute Team Data Sync from a subteam roster instead of the whole roster if there are a lot of athlete accounts in your coach account. This limits the room for connection errors when the mobile device searches for sensor data to sync
  4. If many sensors are struggling to connect (an error will show: "Sensor Failed to Connect"), forget the sensor(s) in the mobile device bluetooth settings
  5. If the app is taking a long time to sync, try going to settings -> "Clear App Cache" to remove unnecessary stored data that could be slowing the app down
